Susan Morosky - Paintings
In my work, the analysis takes place on the surface of the painting. Compositions are continuously being reformulated by adding and removing material. I find this process to be akin to the natural forces upon the physical world.
I prefer honest presentations of physical properties and design. My surfaces are candidly penetrated to reveal consequences, which become embedded to varying degrees in the final form. Its my approach to visual discovery. |
